This is a question we have all asked at some point in our life, but you have nothing to fear in Jesus. Bob takes you into the scriptures to show you just how much God loves you, and why no christian should have any fear of God.

This only applies to those who have assurance. I’ve been seeking assurance since 1988, but have not gotten it. Now a hardening has taken place, where I resent God much of the time. I try to believe, and I do believe in fact that Christ rose from the dead (which means He took care of the sin question), but that element of trust I lack. Whenever I try to believe I feel resistance in my heart, even though I do desire forgiveness and to live in God’s grace.
Hey Rob. You say you desire forgiveness. Forgiveness is in Jesus Christ. Paul put it this way: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” Those who are in Christ have received forgiveness of sins and have been justified by faith. If you are in Christ Rob, forgiveness and justification are yours. Jesus’s work has secured you eternally as His very own. And the gift of God’s Spirit guarantees that you will be with the Lord forever. Assurance and peace are the fruit of resting in this truth.
