What About My Future Sins…

The 28 Day Forgiveness Challenge — Day 6
As a child of God, you have forgiveness for all your sins, past, present and future. This is the gift of grace.
You may wonder how this forgiveness can apply to sins you have yet to commit. Consider this situation. Let’s say tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. you tell a lie. That is a sin, right? That sin deserves punishment.
Let me ask. Who took the punishment for that sin for you? When? Jesus, at the cross. Now you can understand that sin you will commit tomorrow was included in the gift of forgiveness you received when you believed in Jesus.
Here is good news. Jesus shed his blood for every sin you have or ever will commit. The Bible is very clear on this.
“For Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence. Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. Just as man is destined to die one, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him” (Hebrews 9:24-28).
Forgiveness Challenge #6: Are you willing to let truth begin to erase your fears and doubts and break the grip of sin on your life? Every day, remind yourself: There is nothing left to be done. The gift of forgiveness I received at salvation is complete. For encouragement, study 1 John 2:12):

“I am writing to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.”

  1. Amen Brother I do not see it as future already forgiven, for future is not hear yet. I do see how fast any sin I commit is past before I can even blink, Therefore it remains finished, forgiven.
Now the ? that it leaves is, do I take this for granted as the Corinthians did and Paul needed to write them, to bring the meat of the word to eat chew on and swallow in appreciating God’s forgiveness to them, and all of us as well here today?
    Hebrews 2:3
    how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

    1. Thanks, and okay, see you there or here as we discuss what we see in Spirit and truth. I understand as John witnessed” before it took place and said, Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.
So is it done or not, you are stating it is not done, by saying he did not die for all. Okay, yet you believe so you are free, Hallelujah, Brother and I do appreciate your conversation as well.
When he yelled from the cross right before giving up the Spirit and died to flesh, and said it is finished (John 19:30). Is it or isn’t it? Finished or not?
By his death or we made perfect before Father or not? (Colossians 1:22) What is left? Is it to belief this or not? and if we do believe do we get new life here and now in Spirit and truth free from Yeweh, thanks to Yeshua?
And what is the only way Father (Yeweh) can be worshiped, per John 4:23, 24. When was this completed for this to be a reality today, before or after the cross in the resurrected Yeshua, Are our sins and lawless acts are behind his back never to see again. Do we have the message of reconciliation or not, the Apostles pleading with to thus be reconciled to God since God by Son is reconciled to us
Yes we agree on the fact that all that is left is to either believe God or not?
You just disagree with me that unbelief is not something he died for, when he did. die for that. What is left is for us to believe that he did it or he didn’t?
Do you belief that he did die for unbelief, you said he did not, and I say he did?
So be it, love you no matter what, we all have free choice.
Oh and you made it clear as you believe it to be it is to you, and I accept it as you think it to be. I just do not see it the same, Yet do we both not know that God (Yeweh) does just love us both and all persons, in Mercy and truth. Is that not awesome?

  2. I disagree that, “Jesus shed his blood for every sin you have or ever will commit.”
According to Jesus, he shed his blood to forgive every sin and blasphemy but one.
Mat 12:31 “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
Mat 12:32 “Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
So every sin and blasphemy was forgiven at the cross, and there is no more forgiveness of sin, but the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit was not forgiven, nor will it ever be. This is the sin that must repented of.
If you do not repent, or “change your mind”, about this sin, then you still do not believe in Jesus and remain condemned.

    1. Is not the sin of blasphemy, the sin of unbelief? Is it not the Job of the Holy Spirit of truth from Yeweh, God to come live in the one’s that believe and teach us truth over error? Now if one does not accept this, believe this, that one remains in unbelief, yet had his chance to believe and consciously choose not to believe, which is Blasphemy against Yehweh, when one does choose, either to believe or not, true or false?
The only thing Christ never died for is: unbelief, and the Holy Spirit of truth is sent to those that choose or chose Belief, to first teach us truth over error, then tell others of the great news. Which I sense you know of, and are a news paper boy, not an editor I pray. All I know today is how deep is Yehweh’s love for all. So deep I have to look up to see down. Thanks for your post.

      1. Howard, that is exactly my point, that Jesus died for the forgiveness of every sin and blasphemy but one. You are correct when you say that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is unbelief. It is the Holy spirit that testifies about Jesus, when we reject that testimony we are calling God a liar, blaspheming, and that sin of unbelief will never be forgiven, it must be repented of.
But it is very important to know that there is one sin that was not forgiven and never will be, and that should be pointed out every time the forgiveness of sins is discussed.

        1. The only sin that becomes s the sin of blasphemy is the sin of unbelief, when one consciously makes this choice to not believe and all by God will have had their conscious choice to choose, why?
so at that day of Judgment, no person will have an excuse, not one will truthfully be able to say they did not know, for all will know him as Lord and savior, and will have consciously chose to whom they believe or not, and will righteously go wherever God the only righteous says, to go righteously, you think. I just desire to be God’s vessel, as a water glass is my vessel, to get a drink when I choose, yet with Father (Yeweh) He pours us out onto others in his type of love as in 1Cor 13:4-7. As David said in First Testament my cup overfloweth.
Thanks again Brother for your insight we are all by Yeweh being grown up in Father by Son’s finished work, without Yeshua, not one can ever be saved

          1. Again, my point is that Jesus did not shed his blood for every sin that ever has or ever will be committed. There is one sin that was not forgiven and that should be discussed every time forgiveness is spoken of.
If someone thinks that Jesus died for every sin, unaware of the sin that was not and never will be forgiven, then they may go through life believing they are saved when they are not.
The truth shall set you free.

          2. Not trying to convince you any different, I thank you from your view as you see this, and from my view of the same is the same yet in a different view from the same arena and I no matter what Brother trust god to do this: in us all tat do believe that have made the choice to consciously believe:
So I judge not, nor try to be Doctrinal as if I am right or wrong over any issues, knowing all have free choice to believe or not believe:
Romans 14:4Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

          3. Just to clarify, do you believe that Jesus shed his blood for every sin? Or do you believe that Jesus shed his blood for every sin but one?

          4. He dies for all, the unbelief of this world to come to belief. All sin has been judged at the cross.
The only thing that is left is to either believe or stay in unbelief that all flesh is first born with
And unbelief is not considered a sin until after the person knows that he chooses to either believe or not consciously aware of it
Do you read my entire posts or do you stop at parts and assume from that alone
Again at Judgment day, not one person will have an excuse to where they are going to be put by God.
So obviously after one knows the truth and disregards it and remains dependent on his self or this world, he will at Judgment consciously know what was chosen, no excuses none
Some how we are miscommunicating or you that state you have chosen to belief, do not? Just a ? Are you made righteous before God by Son at Son’s Death? What is left to get after this knowledge that you are forgiven?
Is God pleased with any works of man’s flesh?
Who’s flesh is the only flesh that ever pleased God?
Is there any condemnation in the Spirit of God, for you?
            Is there for your flesh?
Do you reckon yourself dead to the flesh, by Christ’s death in the flesh for you?
How are we right here now on earth, made alive?
            Are we in unredeemed flesh?
Did Christ come to kill flesh and gives us new life?
Love you deeply Brother, praying we get on the same page and we need no arbitrators either, truth is truth and I am elated to know God knows who is who, and whom is not. So I will rest here, thank you
For who is ever incorrect in their thoughts I trust God to cause his children to stand

          5. Yes I read your entire post. You wrote:
“And unbelief is not considered a sin until after the person knows that he chooses to either believe or not consciously aware of it”
According to Jesus, unbelief is a sin. It does not “become” a sin, it already is sin.
Jhn 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
This is Jesus saying that anyone that does not believe in him is already condemned, and they are condemned BECAUSE they do not believe.
Their unbelief does not become sin it already is sin. In fact it is the only sin being counted against them.
16:7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
Jhn 16:8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment:
            Jhn 16:9 about sin, because people do not believe in me;
So, again, I am not saying these things, this is what Jesus said. If you believe in Jesus then you believe what he said.

          6. It is okay William no matter what will ALL have had their conscious choice, to either believe or not believe?
Will God not have given all the free choice to consciously choose to believe or not?
Will any one at Judgment have an excuse as to why they should not go to Hell?
Maybe this might clear up the misunderstanding, hope so, if not then we will just have to disagree to agree, and thanks for your posts. It is appreciated to hear from anothers view in the arena

          7. Howard, I appreciate your conversation, but I base what I believe on what God says. He says unbelief is sin. He dose not say unbelief becomes sin. God says that Jesus died for every sin but one, I don’t say that, God does. He tells us that if we believe in him we are saved. If we don’t believe what he says, then we don’t believe in him.
