  1. What are we to do as Christians?
John 6:28 Then they asked him, “what MUST WE DO to do the work God REQUIRES?”
John 6:29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to BELIEVE in the one he has sent.”
That is our work, to believe in Jesus.
When you believe in Jesus, what happens.
John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit: apart from me YOU can do NOTHING.”
So if you walk in dependence upon Jesus, HE will do things through you. You trying to do things apart from Jesus results in you doing nothing, according to Jesus.
If you call yourself a believer in Christ, then you really should BELIEVE what Christ said.
Phl 2:13 for it is GOD WHO WORKS IN YOU to WILL and to ACT according to his good purpose.
This is what pleases God, that you have faith in Jesus.
Hbrws 11:6 And without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to PLEASE GOD…..
Gal 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has ANY VALUE. The ONLY THING THAT COUNTS is FAITH expressing itself through love.
In other words keeping the law not keeping the law has no value when it comes to your relationship with God. The only thing that matters is faith expressed through love. This love must come from Christ in you and that is not going to happen if YOU are busy doing things for God. That is why Paul tells us to die to ourselves so that we may come alive in Christ Jesus.
Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I NO LONGER LIVE, but Christ lives in me….

  2. The Christian life is becomming what we already are….what a joy that is….reminded me of a story i read last week of a frighted student that wanted out of a class for fear of failure….after talking to the instructor….this wise teacher told her….what if i give you an A right now….will you take the class….and she did….the teacher explaind to her father (who is our friend Steve Brown) that she had taken away the threat of a bad grade so she could learn without the threat of failure or judgement…..what a smile maker that is….we already have an A….Yep!…grace is truly amazing….

  3. Still in the glow go Conference 220. Pastor Jeffrey and I have met several times to go over and share our notes. His message Sunday definitely left people saying “Wow what a great God”. Cory said thanks for the book. God is good.

  4. I bought a ticket for the conference because I really wanted to go but I couldn’t make it… But I have to say Bob that this program of People To People is the answer to my prayers about 6 months ago when I was driving and asking God for someone to preach his word the way my spirit believe!!! and there you guys were at 4:30pm Eastern time… I am so blessed to be part of this incredible truth of his Grace The New Covenant through Jesus Christ himself!!! Thank you and God bless! I am looking forward for next year to be part of this conference!

  5. I used to think when I stand before Jesus I would ask many questions concerning history and ask why to numerous situations I have pondered – but then my relationship changed and the wonderful outpouring of love was accepted – now when I stand before Jesus I will hug him in silence – I love my God and words cannot express what I feel! We are truly blessed!
Your ministry speaks of God’s love and is wonderful – thank you!
