Just a Minute!

The Corinthian church was a mess.

So much so that Paul called them spiritual babies.

And rightfully so.

I mean they were fussing over whose work was more important.

As if they had something to do with bringing about change in people’s lives.

Here was Paul’s answer…

“Neither the one who plants, or the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.”

Jesus is the one who makes things happen.

It is a lesson that the Corinthians needed to learn.

And so do we.

We all have a purpose and a part to play in God’s work.

Let’s encourage each other to carry out those parts well

And rejoice with the results God brings about.
