Just a Minute!

When John saw Jesus, as he wrote in Revelation, he fell at his feet as though dead.

Jesus put his hand on him and said, “Fear not.”

There was good reason.

As Jesus explained, “I am the First and the Last. I am the living one. I was dead and now look, I am alive for ever and ever.

And I hold the keys of death and Hades.”

The thing we fear most is death and judgment.

This had such a grip on our lives, that the writer of Hebrews wrote this fear held us in slavery.

In Christ, fear loses its grip.

He is alive forever.

With his key, he has opened the door and released us from the power of sin and death.

You are alive and free.

And that’s good news.
