Trophies of Grace

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis

All of Christianity stands upon the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Without his resurrection we are without hope. But what does that event 2,000 years ago mean to us today? Paul spells out the Gospel here: "For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day ..." 1 Corinthians 15:3-5 And we learn in Ephesians "And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience... God made us alive together with Christ..." Ephesians 2:1-4

  • How could Jesus be without sin if he was born of Mary?
  • Kevin asks for a Scripture to refer to when he's struggling with patience.
  • The New King James includes Acts 9:5-6 which are not in other versions. What's going on here?
