In Him, You Have Rest
Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer
In Exodus 33, Moses gets a disturbing message from God. It is time to travel to the Promised Land, but God says he will not go before them because the people's hearts were hard. Moses advocates for his people and asks God to distinguish his people from all the rest by going with them to the Promised Land. God then promises that he will go with his people and give them rest. As believers, we have the same promise. Jesus lives in us and his presence means we are at rest. Once we know we are in the presence of God we can rest. Do you know that as a believer in Christ you can never be outside the favor of God? The Holy Spirit is the guarantee of that truth.
