Pray for Your Leaders
Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Andrew Farley
In this second day of the impeachment trial it's good to be reminded as Christians that we have the opportunity and are called to pray for our leaders. Paul encourages Timothy: "First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way." 1 Timothy 2:1-3
- What does it mean to be "asleep in Christ" and that "the dead in Christ will rise first"? 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
- In John 5:25, is Jesus referring to unbelievers who acknowledge His call and believe? First, I thought He meant physically dead believers will live when we hear His voice. Is He talking about both?
- What do you think of women preaching and being leaders in the church?
