Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

My church is very adamant about tongues as evidence of the Holy Spirit. But I don't have the gift. Why if it's so important is it never mentioned beyond Corinthians and Acts?

• My understanding is that the commandments where nailed to the cross and now what stands between people and God is their refusal to believe in Christ.
• I don't see anywhere in Scripture I'm told to be a Christian. Where did the name Christian come from?
• Please explain 2 Timothy 4:2-4.
