Sin brings fear into our lives. We're fearful of God's punishment because we know our sin is deserving of punishment. When we're declared forgiven we are set free... it is a declaration of freedom. John wrote this: "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." 1 John 4:18

• How do we know that we are following God's direction in forgiveness?
• I thank the Lord for delivering me from my depression. I found the living word to be the cure for my depression.
• Christ says, "I will never leave you or forsake you" and that is the greatest promise we have.
