The Power of the Gospel
Richard Peifer, Bob Davis
We read in Colossians 1 one of the most practical applications of the Gospel itself. In verse 9 and 10 we read: "We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way..." and in 13 and 14 "For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." That's the Power of the Gospel!
- If the Spirit guides us in all truth and understanding, why does he not lead us from the bondage of legalism?
- Many Christians believe that with fasting we get closer to God. Do we need to fast in order for the Holy Spirit to move in our lives?
- Can my husband be forgiven for adultery?
