Hope Poured Out in the Gospel
Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer, Andrew Farley
Everybody needs and longs for hope. And that's what the Gospel offers. Rev 21:1, 2 "Then I saw 'a new heaven and a new earth,' for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband." If you're look for what's sure in this world, you need only look for the hope in the Gospel.
- Mary is concerned about her salvation and says: "I just want to get the point where I can say, 'I am a Christian. I have done what Jesus said' and move on."
- Do you have to be a pastor to baptize someone?
- Why did John the Baptist wonder if Jesus was the Messiah or someone else in Luke 7:30?
