A Restored Relationship
Richard Peifer, Bob Davis
God through Jesus reconciled himself to all things. God is restoring a relationship of peace that has been disturbed. We couldn't reconcile ourselves to God so he took the initiative to rebuild the relationship that was lost. And he did this through Jesus by making peace through his blood shed on the cross. Because of who Jesus is he could be the means to God reconciling himself to us.
- If it was important that Jesus only be referred to by his Jewish name wouldn't God have Peter deliver his message on the Day of Pentecost in Hebrew?
- Why is Jesus' virgin birth important?

- I've seen a lot of people come and go in the last 10 years at my church. I still participate - even with the things I see wrong - and I wonder why I'm still there.
- Shouldn't we be calling Jesus the "last Adam" not the "second Adam"?
