Faith: Established and Firm
Richard Peifer, Bob Davis
This week we've been looking at reconciliation in light of Colossians 1:15-25. Today we look at verses 23 and 23 "But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant." So often we here the "if" in this passage interpreted incorrectly. But when we understand it in the original language we can find assurance.
- Brad calls to discuss reconciliation.
- Ken wonders about what God does with the intentional sins we do after we come to Christ.
- Valerie asks for clarification about witnessing to people in the flesh vs. the Spirit.
