Freedom in Christ

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

This is a wonderful month as we celebrate freedom across the land. But we can celebrate even greater freedom in Christ.

  • I'm attending a conference on end-times and just wondering what you think of it.
  • Why does the Scripture read "believe and you will be saved" instead of "you are saved"?
  • Why does the Scripture read "believe and you will be saved" instead of "you are saved"? What is gnoticism?
  • Is it OK to marry after divorce.

Truth Sets You Free

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

Every person longs to experience freedom in some shape or form. There's a freedom that transcends that — the freedom found in Christ.

  • What does my sin do to Jesus? Do the nails twist in His hands when we sin?
  • How can I get someone to see that Jesus is the only way?
  • If God remembers our sins no more, why is there a judgment day?
  • I have a problem reading. Does it matter that I read the Bible or can I simply listen?

The Joy of My Salvation

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

I was thinking in light of recent Supreme Court decisions how the Bible has lost relevance in this country. We've let go of a firm grip on the Word of God. We need a revival of the reliance on the Bible for truth and knowledge.

  • Thank you for bringing me back to 1984 when I was saved... to the original joy I had.
  • People sometimes wonder about their salvation and I look to Hebrews 7:23-28 in that Jesus saves completely.
  • Once I knew God forgave me completely I had freedom to confess my sins to those I've offended and to go free in the forgiveness of God.
  • I'm a mental health patient and have been under care for most of my life. I insult the Lord all the time and can't seem to get rid of this problem. Can you help me?
  • There's people who think if you don't know the time and hour your were born-again, you aren't truly saved. But weren't we set apart before we were born?

It's All About Jesus

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

If we really want to experience all that God has for us, we need to have a reverence and respect for the Bible. It's all about Jesus. It tells us who He is and who we are.

  • I'm fully persuaded of my security in Christ, but how are we to understand Romans 2 concerning God's judgment?
  • The Word of God contains the truth we need to help us in any situation we are going through in life.
  • How do I effectively study the Bible with all the distractions in life?
  • I believe in eternal security, but Hebrews 6 is troubling to me.
  • The problem isn't the Word of God, the problem is with us.

Prompted by Love

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

Sin does not harm to its neighbor.

  • Why was Cain's offering rejected? Was it the wrong offering or something else?
  • I'm 63. In my life I've had downfalls. But in hindsight God was with me through it all.

  • What are the commandments we are to obey?
  • Could you explain John 3:36?
  • I've noticed since I started walking in the grace of God that I cussed a lot more. I've agreed with God that this is a sin. But do I now approach others about their sin?

Immanuel - God With Us

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

How do we define sin? Is it law based or grace based?A friend is recently saved. He asked why isn't God simply known as God? He seems to think that all religions worship the same God?

  • I know Jesus is God in the flesh, why would He have to pray to God?
  • When God emptied Himself into human form, was He totally in the form of Jesus?
  • Do we ever get to the point where we stop praying about something?

Live in the New

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

Do we live in the old or live in the new? When we live in the new we experience God's best for us.

  • I committed the sin of adultery and it's cost me a great deal.
  • What does it mean that perfect love casts out all fear?
  • What is the doctrine on being filled with the spirit?
  • Regarding Eph 4:30 and 1 Thes 5:19, grieving and quenching the Spirit, 1st, how do we do that to the Spirit and 2nd, how do we un-quench or un-grieve the Holy Spirit if we don't confess our sins?
  • Is it correct to say unbelievers' sins have been taken away as well?
  • I'm confused about Jesus' statement to the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15:21-28. First He seems mean and then He praises her for her faith.

God's Best for You

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

How do you experience God's best in life?

  • Why do so many Christians believe that every time you sin you're out of fellowship with God?
  • Did God know Eve would commit the sin before He created Adam and Eve?
  • I consider myself a Christian and feel I'm growing, but continue to struggle with sin even after much prayer. Should I continue to pray?
  • What do you think about someone who condemns people who are divorced and even extends their judgment to their children?
  • How should we interpret Romans 11:32 "For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all"?
