When we look at the news and see what's going on it can be very scary. We don't know what to think. When Adam and Eve partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that brought evil into this world. There is this constant tension between good and evil. Paul wrote: "... For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. ..." 7:14-24 God has called us to the Tree of Life!

Hebrews 10:17-18 Jesus dealt with our sin at the cross. Sin has been judged and condemned to the fullest extent. And because Jesus' sacrifice was sufficient there is no more sacrifice to be made.

Jesus lives forever and his priesthood is eternal. Sin has been dealt with once and for all. Once you've been saved you've been saved completely.
