I Am Convinced
Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Andrew Farley
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? ... For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35-39

No Condemnation in Christ
Bob Christopher, Bob Davis
"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:1 There is no condemnation for you because you are in Christ. That is life changing news. Why is this so important? Because you have an accuser, an enemy, that stands against you. But you can rest in the reality that is found in Jesus Christ alone.
- Darlene writes: "just wanted to say goodbye and thank you for so many years of great teaching."

The Image of the Invisible God
Bob Christopher, Bob Davis
We see some really amazing and supernatural things about the Christmas story. It was orchestrated by God to provide his Son as a gift and sacrifice to us. We see the full scope of Jesus' work upon the earth — his death, burial and resurrection. Paul gives us a description of Jesus in Colossians 1:19-20 "For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross."

The Cornerstone
Bob Christopher, Bob Davis
The death, the burial, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the good news. It's the good news that happened 2,000 years ago. And when you hear the good news and make it your story "Christ in you" becomes your story. Peter talks about this in his first letter. "As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 2:5-6

Resurrection
Bob Christopher, Bob Davis
Christianity hinges upon a single event two thousand years ago. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. And it's the resurrection that causes many pause. Paul addresses Jesus' resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15:14,17 "and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, your faith also is in vain. ... and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins."

Who Are You?
Bob Christopher, Bob Davis
Let's talk about our identity in Christ. "For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, 'Abba! Father!' The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him." God Works in You
Bob Christopher, Bob Davis
So many ask, "How can I be close to God?" And often that has to do with feeling. They want to feel close to God. But closeness to God has to do with location, not a feeling. Our feelings change, but the truth of Christ in you will never change. We are one with Him in spirit. "Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure." Philippians 2:12-13
