We certainly want to extend a heartfelt thanks to those Veterans listening today. We've been celebrating Veterans Day official since 1954. As long as there has been freedom there has been those who must fight for that freedom. In 2 Timothy we read how Paul encourages Timothy to "be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus."

One of the key characteristics of God that we understand when we come to Christ is mercy. We come by faith and recognize our need. God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive in Christ. He has sent His Spirit to live inside us and has promised to conform. We see mercy in the answer Jesus gave to the question, "Who is my neighbor?"

• How are you born again? How do you know you're born again? How do you stay born again?
• Some believe they can lose their salvation. In light of that, are they truly saved?

One of the things we know about God is that He is merciful. It is by grace we have been saved. God is a merciful God. We see that characteristic being made in us as we respond to His mercy.

• I listen to you guys everyday at 4 o'clock. There's nothing better than talking about Jesus... and touching people with the love of Christ.
• I just want to thank you for delivering the message. I've finally picked up the Bible a year and half ago. Everyday... He reveals something about me and is constantly making me into the person I want to be.
• In Philippians 1:6 that you spoke on yesterday, "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.", is the 'day of Jesus Christ' referring to his return at the time of the resurrection? If so, will His work continue with those who have entered into eternity prior to the resurrection?
