Larry Alex Taunton joins the broadcast today to discuss his newest book, Around the World in More than 80 Days. Bob and Larry look at the question "What's Happening in America?". Philosophies are taking root in America today that are changing culture in church, politics, and the corporate arena. We must have a fixed point of morality to stay the course. Our fixed point is Jesus Christ. The church and certainly our culture has moved away from the fixed point leaving people more easily influenced and susceptible to cultural Marxism and the prosperity gospel. The use of language is one way to change the culture. It will be presented as something necessary and good but in fact is exactly the opposite. Knowing the general article (Jesus) will expose those that are counterfeit.

Jude has some great encouragement for us as to how we can live as Children of God. "But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, 'In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.'" Jude 1:17

• Don struggles with regrets and forgiveness. Are his memories reminded God of what he has done?
• I've never read the Bible and have never been to church. I've considered myself to be an atheist most of my life. Recently I've become interested in learning about Christianity but know almost nothing about it. Would reading your book Simple Gospel, Simply Grace or the Bible be a good starting point?

Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8). This means that love never falls away, never departs from us. We can count on steadfast love in the person of Jesus Christ. This is our confidence in life.
