We had an email asking, "What are we supposed to do to be saved?" In Romans 10:9-13 we read, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved... 'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"

Our prayers are with the people in Nepal who are part of the devastation and rescue efforts. We encourage you to support them in your prayers and gifts if you can. But in this world we're promised hardship and troubles. So how can you know you're ready to face these trials when they come? Knowing that we are forgiven is the doorway to stepping into the abundant life Jesus Christ offers. Romans 8:33-34 "Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us."

• Romans 11:21 states, "For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either." How are we to understand this?

One aspect of the Gospel that's not talked about a lot is righteousness. It's a key part of the Gospel and we read in Romans 10:4, "Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes." This righteousness is ours. Christ shared His righteousness with us.

• I've witnessed many who claimed to be Christians but were going through deliverance services. Where do I put this in my belief system?
• What is the difference between being filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues? Can a believer be filled with the Spirit without tongues? Is speaking in tongues proof that we are sealed with the Spirit?
