One of those things is the armor of God. Today we're going to look at the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

• Can you explain Matthew 26:41... "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."
• Will everyone in Heaven inherit the goodness of Christ in the same level?
• There was a boy who was tortured and abused. What will happen to the woman who did that if she's saved in prison?

Don comments about the temptation in the Garden of Eden. Disobedience at it's core is unbelief. There's no need for armor if we don't use it.

The fact that Jesus is alive today... He saves us today and equips us with a set of armor that protects us from this world. We need protection and today let's look at the breastplate of righteousness which guards the heart.

Today we're going to look at another piece of the armor, breastplate of righteousness. It protects us against the accusations of Satan. This righteous guards our hearts. We need this protection.

• I read about the rich man that went to Hell and saw Abraham and talking to him. How could someone in Hell be speaking to Abraham?
• I'm 33 years old and was saved at 18. It's been up and down. I was taught no one can pluck you from God's hand. Recently many have told me salvation can be lost. In Revelation 22 there is a stern warning. Can you explain this?

Every time a person comes to Christ they are made alive and they are issued a set of armor. Paul describes this in Ephesians 6. There are several parts to this armor. He starts with the "belt of truth". Truth will set you free.

• Ephesians 6:10 - The "put on" means to sink into a garment...

• Knowing that Christ has paid it all are we supposed to hold the Sermon on the Mount as a standard?

Paul says to put on the full armor of God. It starts with the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness... I thought this week we'd look at each of these. Today we're going to look at the "belt of truth". The belt ties it all together.

• I have a concern about myself. I pray all the time, but I don't feel that God is with me. I wonder if I'm really saved.
