We're getting very close to the celebration of the birth of Christ. In the names of Jesus we see the gospel message. In Acts 10:43 we see what happens to those who receive Jesus. If you've received Jesus, you have forgiveness of sins.

What an amazing message. He will be name Jesus, the one who will save us from our sin. What happens to those who receive Him. Fast-forward to Peter entering the house of Cornelius when he states, "All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name." Acts 10:43

The only one that can change our heart is Jesus. He is the one who can circumcise our heart. There is nothing you can get externally that surpasses the peace of God. Thank you for being so grounded in the Word.

Matthew 1:23 "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel (which means 'God with us')." Now God has been restored to His creation and lives in us. Jesus' birth started the restoration of man.

• One day I was reading in Genesis and the Lord says, "I give you dominion over the fish", but we've lost it right? Jesus told Peter to put his net into the water, much like giving us back control over the fist.
• I hear everyday about the freedoms in Christ, but I'm missing the "How to".

Christmas is just around the corner. We read about the angelic announcement to Joseph that he is to give the child the name Jesus, because he will save people from their sin.

• I am slow in my mind. I also can't focus and my mind is scattered. I want to be free so I desire to be able to accept the way God made me .
• Who do we live with during the 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth?
• Since the scripture tells us that no one seeks God, but rather that He seeks us out, it would seem to me that no one could seek God except a born again believer. Is this a foolish notion?

We celebrate the birth of Christ each time this year and He rescued us from sin. 1. He frees us from the punishment of sin. 2. He releases us from the power of sin. 3. He will remove us from the presence of sin.

• When we're faced to have a "chip" implanted do we accept it or reject it? Is this the mark of the beast?
• Years before God saved me I remember someone telling me I was spiritually dead. I wonder if that was the best way to approach people with the gospel.

Watching people drive on this ice reminds me of how we often approach God. We give it our best shot, but we simply can't do it. We try to do it based on our behavior, but our behavior is never good enough.
