Love in Action

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

Love is an action. It's demonstrated in vivid detail at the cross. we know God loves us because of the cross.

  • I hear people say the favor of God is having things or getting preferential treatment. What is the favor of God?
  • Am I forsaking the assembly of believers if I simply watch a service online?
  • I need to find fellowship with other believers - everyone I meet are plastic Christians.
  • My wife is not having an affair, but says she's not coming home. What does the Bible say?
  • I have Asberger's Syndrome... the churches I went to treated me horribly. I disagree with you saying you have to find fellowship.
  • Does Romans 8:28 apply to both believers and unbelievers?

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

We're talking about character and how God transforms us. That's an inside to out process. It's not something He lays out for us, it is all dependent upon Jesus Christ. He is at work in us to will and do His good pleasure.

  • Just a few months after I was born again... William talks about how God used the misunderstanding of the phrase "whole milk" to show him what his ministry would be.
  • Was Paul ever married?
  • What does someone mean by "I've went back into the world"?

Motivated by the Love of God

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

You hear the message of Christ, you believe the message of Christ and then you live it out and there's no better verse in the Bible to teach us that truth than Galatians 2:20. "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live..."

  • We have a wonderful conference that was based on that verse and you can get the Conference220 on CD here: store.basicgospel.net/product/CD220.html
  • Malachi 2:16 "'The man who hates and divorces his wife,' says the Lord, the God of Israel, 'does violence to the one he should protect,' says the Lord Almighty."
  • When we die, we know where our bodies go, what happens to the souls and the spirit?
  • Will you make it to Heaven if you backslide... go back to the nightclubs, engage in sin and turn from God?
  • I backslide three times and each time repented. Can someone who backslid be under spiritual oppression? loveisbook.net/

I Live by Faith

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

There's a great passage in the book of Galatians 2:20 and it will rock your world: "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

  • Last February we had a conference based on this verse, Conference220, with Andrew Farely, Frank Viola, Pete Briscoe, and me. You can get the conference CDs online... store.basicgospel.net/product/CD220.html
  • As a Christian is it sufficient to read the Old Testament the same way you read the New Testament?
  • Can you explain the seven dispensations?
  • Why did God specify the 3 year old animals for Abram's sacrifice?

Christ Alone Through Faith Alone

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

The basic Gospel is simply this: God loves you. God is patient. Why? Because this is a quality of His love. Certainly Paul experienced it. He blasphemed the name of God, but God was patient with him and at the right time Paul became a believer. He trusted in the love of God.

  • Please explain Romans 6:1.

Jesus: God's Gift to Mankind

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

"This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: 'Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners' - and I am the worst of them all." 1 Timothy 1:15 (NLV) Jesus is God's good news for man.

  • Is the New Jerusalem Heaven?
  • I have recently lost my daughter to an automobile accident. She was 18yrs old. She truly was a believer in Jesus Christ. We look to Colossians 3:2-4 and we understand that her life is hidden in Christ and that her Life is Christ's. Do you have any insights on what our heavenly reunion will look like? Will we recognize each other?
  • Love is... loveisbook.net
  • I got more connected with God since I've started listening to [WMCA]. Is there any other way to get connected to God?
  • What happens if you blaspheme the Holy Spirit? Will you lose your salavtion?

Thankful in the Grace of Christ

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

We have so much to be grateful for, especially in light of the basic Gospel. When you have Jesus living inside through the Holy Spirit, you can be truly thankful for all you have. Thankfulness should be a quality you notice more and more as you grow in Christ.

  • My understanding of Hebrews 6:4-6 goes like this: "Understanding the New Covenant and the fact that the sin issue has been settled, if I were for some reason to decide to leave the new covenant (an early Hebrew under persecution for example) to go back to a system that teaches repentance wouldn't make sense." Am I close in my understanding, or way off base? What are your thoughts on this?
  • If you're not part of a local church, where do you give your offering?

Exactly the Right Time

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

When you say "Basic Gospel" you're really talking about Jesus. Galatians 4:4-5 "But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship."

  • Is Jesus calling Himself God in Matthew 4:7?
  • What did Jesus mean by, "when you pray or fast, do it in private"?
  • Can you be cremated as a Christian?
  • If someone is saved but then gets involved in drugs let's say, and he dies, will he go to Heaven?
