The Great "I Am": The Vine

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis

Jesus is the true vine, the producer of fruit. We become fruit bearers by abiding in the vine. Every Christian abides in Christ. We live in him and he lives in us. Bearing the fruit of Christ is evidence we live in him which glorifies the Father. Start with Christ, and you will continuously bring forth the fruit of his life.

Transformed - Inside Out

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Richard Peifer

Christianity is not a religion. It's a relationship. Peter tells us we are to grow in the grace of Jesus. To grow in our knowledge of Jesus Christ. One of the aspects we can know about God is that he is omniscient. Which means he knows everything about us. We are invited to get to know God — the throne of Grace is open to us. Galatians 4:8,9 tells us: "Formerly, when you did not know God, you were enslaved to those that by nature are not gods. But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more?"

Know Jesus as Lord

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis, Andrew Farley

Not only can we know Jesus as our Savior, but we can know him as our Lord. 1 Corinthians 8:6 says "Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but once Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live." There is tremendous relief when you know that Jesus is your Lord.

Grace Poured Out on Us

What is eternal life? How do we define it? There's one place where we find the answer: John 17:3 "And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent."

  • Paul was one who needed mercy and grace. He writes, "... formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 1:13,14

Guard Your Hearts and Minds

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis

There's a lot going on in the news today. There's a lot of worry and a lot of fear. There's all kind of fear out there. But in light of that let's look at what the Word has to say. "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. ... do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:4-7

The Great "I Am": The Way, the Truth and the Life

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis

Jesus boldly says in John 14:6 "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". These statements of Jesus are exclusive. He does not say he is A way - he clearly says he is THE way. The world does not like this exclusivity, but it is truth. Jesus is God in human flesh and he and the Father are one. Everything in the world was created in Him, through Him, and for Him.

Dr. John Lennox, part 1

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis

Our guest today is Dr. John Lennox, author of "Can Science Explain Everything?" It can often seem that, in the 21st century, we have no need for religion when science has given us so many insights into the mysteries of this universe. Science and religion just do not mix. Drawing on his own experiences as a scientist and a Christian, and decades of good-natured discussion and debates about the relationship between them, Dr. Lennox suggests we can see these two presumed foes as good friends and enjoy and benefit from both of them.

Do You Have a Calling?

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis

What does it mean that Jesus has taken away our sins once for all? It means that forgiveness is something that we already have. And as a result of that we can live out these promises: "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:1 "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love." 1 John 4:18 "So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God "Hebrews 4:9

Freedom is Ours

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis

You may be saying, "I know God has forgiven me. But I'm having a hard time forgiving myself." How do we forgive ourselves? We have to realize that since he has forgiven us we should forgive ourselves too. C.S. Lewis puts it this way: "I think that if God forgives us we must forgive ourselves."

Your Story of Faith

Bob Christopher, Bob Davis

When Jesus shed his blood he took away our sins once and for all. One of the great promises of the New Covenant is that God remembers our sins no more. What does that mean for you and I today? That we can experience his life here and now.
