We are living in uncertain times. When uncertainly is around us, we have to get back to what we know is true. "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38). That is our rock in this time of uncertainty. Not even the coronavirus can separate us from the love of God. This pandemic is NO indication of what God thinks about us or feels about us. God is good. It is in the work of the Son that we see the heart of the Father.

How do we go through the trials and tribulations in this world? Romans 12 tells us we are to offer our bodies as living sacrifices. "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:1-2

One of the first thing we need to seek out in dire circumstances is hope. And Peter points us to this hope to calm our hearts and give us reassurance. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead..." 1 Peter 1:3 We know that God is faithful and just. Vs. 7... "so that the tested genuineness of your faith ... may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ."
