The resurrection has implications for us here and now. We've been ushered into a relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ. We come to learn that God is love. For God so loved the world that he sent his son. He demonstrated his love to me. And because of that we can share the knowledge of God's love with others.

What is the practical ramification of the resurrection? Why is this so important. Paul describes it this way: "Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ ..." Philippians 3:8-11 If you want to have eternal life the only way to do that is to know God. And because Jesus dealt with death once for all, we can do that.

Richard continues with his story from the legalism of religion to the freedom and liberty of God's grace. During this transition Richard found himself angry with himself and his religion. Over a decade later, an encounter with friends introduced him to the Holy Spirit in him and life changed!
