Happy New Year to everyone. This is a great reminder that we live in a New Covenant. Paul sums it up, we are a "new creation. The old has gone and the new has come" 2 Corinthian 5:17 Paul further writes in Colossians 2:6, 7 "Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving."

• If God is not counting our sins against us and we are not condemned, then why would we end up standing before Christ to give an account of the things we did, both good and bad?

2 Corinthians 3:4-6 "Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God ... " We at Basic Gospel want people to understand that we are ministers of a New Covenant - ministers of life, not death. We want to proclaim this Gospel everyday.
