There are a lot of voices out there trying to explain what's going on today. In Hosea 4 the charge was "they didn't have knowledge of God". And we see that today. People reject the knowledge of God. However, when we come into this New Covenant, we are given a knowledge of God and we know God.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the message concerning Christ. Where our lives are centered around Him, everything changes. We are called to lived by faith. When we live by faith, we experience joy motivated by the love of God.

• As a believer, when I pray, do I only pray to our Father or do I pray to Jesus? Do I pray to the Father, in Jesus' name? Do I pray to the Holy Ghost?

What does the Word of God say to us about money? I think it's time for us to stand up as believers and take our place back. But we need to understand what we're up against. And that is the love of money. We live in a world were people only seek after money... even in the Christian world. Paul tells Timothy: these people "have been robbed of the truth". Real contentment can truly be found in a faith relationship with God through Jesus Christ. 1 Timothy 6:3-13

How do we make the Gospel relevant to the world today? First of all we have to find out why it's relevant to us. One of my favorite novels is "Les Miserables". It a story on one man's quest for freedom. It speaks to us in that we all seek freedom. God has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Peter talks about this: "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."

• Hebrews 12:1 refers to "the sin that so easily in tangles us." What is that sin?
