At the cross of Jesus Christ he brought an end to the Old Covenant and his blood ushered in a brand new covenant. Hebrews 9 tells us about that: " For where a will is involved, the death of the one who made it must be established." Hebrews 9:16 A will only goes into effect when the one who made the will dies. So the cross of Jesus Christ is where all of human history changed direction.

This week and the month of March we'll be talking about the New Covenant. It may sound dull, but this is truly exciting. This is where we live out our lives as believers. We're familiar with the Old Covenant with all its rules and regulations. It was put into place 400 years after the promise given to Abraham. The New Covenant isn't like the Old. God made a declaration and we are beneficiaries of His will. Hebrews 9:15

• How do you really know when you hear God's voice?
• Should Christian women cover their heads when we pray?
• Is our name already written in the Book of Life those that will be saved?
• I've accepted Jesus as my savior. But there's a problem, rather than loving God I'm sometimes afraid of him and its tiring for me. How can I love him more as my father than a judge?

Last week was one for the records. We were without power across Texas and here at the building. We even experienced a pipe burst here at our building. Thankfully we are back on the air today.

• The Book of Hebrews is about the New Covenant. The writer is making the point that the New is superior in every way to the Old. We have a superior high priest. Hebrews 8:8-13 Jesus ushered the New Covenant in through his death on the cross.

We woke up this morning to an ice covered DFW. Due to the icy roads there was a huge 100+ vehicle wreck that claimed 9 people's lives and our hearts go out to them and their families along with the many other injured in the accident.

We see throughout the book of Philippians that it is God that is working in and through us. "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." Philippians 2:3-4
