That means God has showed up in your life. No matter what we go through, He is with us. We have been fused together with Christ, joined together as one. With that as our reality, we can change our thinking and live with great expectation.

Chaos has reigned through 2020. Thanks goodness we have the constant of Jesus Christ to hold onto. Truth has lost its place in the world. Today is a special day on the Jewish calendar. It's Yom Kippur - The Day of Atonement. It's the one day of the year that the High Priest would enter into the Holy of Holies. We find that mercy seat in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ cleansed the people by his blood and took away our sin once and for all. Ephesians 1:7 Colossians 1:13-14

When you look out into the world you see shifting sands. There's no guarantee in anything the world has to offer. You won't find solid footing in the world. Solid footing is only found in Christ Jesus. "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, ... I and the Father are one." John 10:27-30

If you go through the Word of God looking for what you're supposed to do, you're not going to be following the trail of assurance. But if you go through looking for his promises, you will walk that trail of assurance. "In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory." Ephesians 1:13-14
